In response to the lockdown and the challenges presented by school closures during the pandemic, the Universities of Sussex, Brighton and Chichester and the Brighton and Sussex Medical School have developed innovative, engaging virtual outreach offerings. Each offers subject-specific activities as well as demonstrating the wide variety of university experiences available to students in the region.

The University of Brighton offers a glimpse into life at its four sites, including the thriving campus in the heart of the city by the sea.
The University of Chichester gives a flavour of life at a small, vibrant university on the south coast, with a strong music and drama offering. It also offers a series of webinars and masterclasses.
Brighton and Sussex Medical School has a number of outreach initiatives including a programme for students in Years 9 to 12, BrightMed, and a virtual work-experience programme.
