Young People in Supported Accommodation
Understanding the barriers to higher education
This project, looking at young people in supported accommodation in Brighton & Hove, had two main phases. The first aimed to understand the experience for homeless young people and those living in supported accommodation when trying to access higher education, and how they are being supported around this. The second phase adopted a participatory action research approach to support a caseload of young people to access education and, ultimately, higher education.
